We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager / Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients in Kent.  You will be joining a busy team delivering a variety of hard FM services to clients throughout the South East.

What you’ll get

• A base salary up to £65,000
• Fully expensed company car, fuel card etc
• Discretionary bonus scheme

What you’ll be doing

You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and support the delivery of projects.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Tender preparation, organising and leading tenders for various projects and collaborating with the project team to gather information and develop bid strategies.
• Identifying potential risks and opportunities and proposing engineering solutions.
• Evaluating and analysing the financial aspects of tender returns, cost estimates, pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
• Cost management and supplier and subcontractor management.

What you’ll need?

You will need proven experience in a bid management and quantity surveying within the mechanical and electrical contracting industry.

Obviously, you will have excellent negotiation and communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
