We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager / Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients in Kent. You will be joining a busy team delivering a variety of hard FM services to clients throughout the South East.
What you’ll get
- A base salary up to £65,000
- Fully expensed company car, fuel card etc

What you’ll be doing
You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and support the delivery of projects.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Tender preparation, organising and leading tenders for various projects and collaborating with the project team to gather information and develop bid strategies.
- Identifying potential risks and opportunities and proposing engineering solutions.
- Evaluating and analysing the financial aspects of tender returns, cost estimates, pricing strategies and profitability assessments.
- Cost management and supplier and subcontractor management.
What you’ll need?
You will need proven experience in a bid management and quantity surveying within the mechanical and electrical contracting industry.
Obviously, you will have excellent negotiation and communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
