A great opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients who are a leading air conditioning manufacturer, working in their projects team!
The Role:
- Primarily work on Service Project works under the day to day supervision of the Project Lead Engineer.
- Assist the Project Lead Engineer with onsite works e.g. Refurbishment / Kitform / upgrades / CRAH unit install.
- Be prepared to work outside of a standard time schedule to ensure works are completed to a deadline.
- Be prepared to work away from home, if required.
- Ensure project reports, vetting forms and customer specific requirements are completed in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Act in a professional manner towards customers at all times.
- Actively work with the Project Lead Engineer to achieve prescribed targets.
- Be prepared to work across aftermarket departments e.g. supporting the Technical support and Controls teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical / brazing experience required. (Electrical experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given).
- Display a positive attitude when faced with a challenge.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Health and safety – Hold, or willing to gain CITB Health and Safety.
- IPAF & MEWP Certificate – Hold, or willing to gain.
- In date passport.
- CITB / CSCS card – ideal but not essential.
- Full UK driving license.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and assume additional duties.
