We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and outgoing BDM to support our clients ambitious plans for growth and assist in proactively developing new business. It is likely that you will already be working within the industry in a similar role.
We are looking for someone who is resourceful and energetic, who has self-motivation with the hunger to identify and approach new customers. In a challenging market, your achievements could be generously rewarded!
What’s on offer?
- Basic salary: £55,000
- Commission scheme (OTE £80,000)
- Annual bonus
- Company car or allowance
- 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays (paid at 22 hours per day to allow for lost overtime)
What you’ll be doing
- Generating leads by cold calling prospective customers
- Identifying target markets and developing opportunities
- Seeking out the relevant person in a company to approach
- To geographically work within the sales team, attending face to face meetings, to cover England with current business.
- Create a sales pipeline.
- To work at uncovering opportunities and closing them down.
- To achieve sales in the first year of £800,000 rising to £1m in the second year.
What you’ll need
You’ll be a charismatic and persuasive character with excellent communication skills as well as a desire to win.
Ideally you will be from a commercial catering background but consideration will be given to candidates from other backgrounds.
