We’re hiring for an experienced Contract Manager to take the reins on a portfolio of Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts across London and Essex. This is a leadership-focused role managing engineers, clients, and internal coordination — ideal for someone with strong people skills and a solid technical understanding of building services.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll oversee a team of 4–5 engineers (static and foot-mobile), working closely with the helpdesk and acting as the key contact for Facilities Managers across retail and commercial sites. Your focus will be on managing performance, service quality, and communication — not tools-on tasks. You’ll be responsible for keeping contracts on track, handling escalations, and ensuring clients are well supported.
What You’ll Need
- Experience managing PPM/FM contracts and engineering teams
- Strong relationship skills with clients, FMs, and helpdesk personnel
- Confidence managing site performance, escalations, and priorities
- Competent technical knowledge in building services (HVAC ideal)
- Comfortable managing high email volumes and reporting clearly
