A global engineering manufacturer delivering mission-critical cooling solutions for large-scale data centres is expanding its commissioning capability in Sweden.
The business supports hyperscale and high-availability data centre projects across Europe, with a long-term project pipeline and growing focus on high-density and liquid cooling technologies. The Role
You will be responsible for commissioning critical cooling systems on data centre projects, from initial testing through to final handover. The work is technically focused and carried out in close cooperation with project, controls, and client teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commissioning of chilled water and liquid-based cooling systems
- Functional and integrated testing of CDUs, pumps, manifolds, valves, and thermal loops
- Fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, and controls/BMS interfaces
- Preparation of commissioning documentation, test reports, and handover records
- Supporting client witnessing and early-life system operation
- Occasional travel to other European data centre sites
The Candidate
This position would suit an experienced commissioning or HVAC engineer who values structured delivery, technical depth, and high-quality engineering environments.
You are likely to have:
- Experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Project Engineer within HVAC or critical environments
- Strong understanding of chilled water and hydronic systems
- Experience commissioning integrated mechanical systems
- Ability to work effectively with BMS, PLC, and controls specialists
- A methodical and well-organised approach to testing and documentation
- Willingness to travel within Sweden and occasionally across Europe
