A company van, local work and your own bed every night. No motorway miles, no hotels, no weeks away on installs across the country. This is a permanent domestic AC installation role based around Uxbridge, with full kit provided from day one.
You don’t need to live in Uxbridge. If you’re in Slough, Wembley or anywhere in between, the work comes to you, and your installs stay within about an hour of your front door.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll install wall-mounted split and multi-split air conditioning systems in customers’ homes. The office plans and books the jobs, so you work to a proper local diary rather than following the work wherever it lands. The work comes from long-term contracts with major energy brands, so it’s steady rather than feast or famine.
You’ll also survey some of your own upcoming installs. You see the job before you’re stood in front of it, so you’re never caught out by someone else’s bad survey.
If you’re self-employed, this trades the quoting and invoice-chasing for a steady salary, planned work and paid holiday.

The professionalism to work cleanly and courteously in someone’s home
Surveying experience helps, but it isn’t essential.
This isn’t commercial work. There’s no VRV, no VRF, no chillers or plant rooms, and no nationwide travel. If you want big commercial variety or a depot to report to every morning, this won’t suit you.
