We are working with a specialist data centre cooling contractor. Founded and run by two experienced directors, the business is in an exciting scale-up phase with a growing client base and a reputation for old-school reliability, straight-talking communication, and high-quality engineering work.
Their technical focus is deep — chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, TurboCore compressors, and complex data centre infrastructure. The team does not touch domestic or low-grade split AC work. Every job matters and the systems are mission-critical.
Current projects include work for a variety of sector-leading infrastructure providers. As a preferred supplier to multiple data centre operators and contractors, they provide access to manufacturer-led training and a pipeline of long-term support projects.
Role overview
This is a field-based service and maintenance role working across chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and critical cooling equipment at data centre sites. You’ll be expected to travel across the Midlands and occasionally further afield when needed — including Slough, Reading, and South Wales. Overnight stays of 2–3 nights may occasionally be required depending on project location.
You’ll be joining a close-knit, experienced engineering team that values independence, problem-solving, and hands-on technical skill. This is not a “babysit the VRF” job — it’s a proactive role maintaining high-end equipment for critical infrastructure.
